During my time at the university hospital, I had the opportunity to deal intensively with tumors and swellings of the face, which occur especially in newborns, children and adolescents. This opened up the special world of children's faces to me, in addition to the immediate medical peculiarities of pediatric facial surgery.

In particular, contour and shape changes that cannot be adequately corrected with minimally invasive treatment techniques require surgical repositioning of sagging tissue.
