MICROFAT as the body's own BIOFILLER

In reconstructive surgery, the principle of restoring the SAME WITH THE SAME applies.

For example, in the case of lost skin (as a result of accidents, burns or operations), the respective defect is covered with skin transplanted from other parts of the body, nerve defects are bridged with (dispensable) skin nerves from the leg, bone defects on the child's facial skull are reconstructed with parts of the shoulder blade, for example in the treatment of NOMA children in West Africa, functioning muscles from the leg are used to replace mimic facial muscles to restore the smile and much more.

Nowadays it is possible to introduce even the smallest fat particles of around 1mm in size in small portions of a few milliliters and with the finest probes into those areas of the face where precisely this (fatty) tissue has disappeared during the aging process.

I use 3D images of the face to explain to my patients where the respective fat deposits can be found, for example behind the eyebrows, in the area of the zygomatic arches, temples, etc., and which individual "weak points" can also be recognized with regard to the further individual aging process.

Recently, during a follow-up visit a few months after such a treatment, a patient told me, looking back on her initial findings, that "the air was out" at the time and has now returned. (Not as air but by means of a MICRO-FAT transfer from her hips to her face, mind you).
